Always changing

Friends,

Thank you so much for your prayers.  Nathan was released from the hospital yesterday (Wed.) evening.  He seems to be on the road to recovery from whatever virus or cold he had.

While this was a relatively quick stay for us (5 days) it was pretty intense from the 20,000 ft. view.  Nathan's recent respiratory struggles have meant that we have officially started some discussions of how safe Nathan's airway is and what his ongoing needs may be.

The MRI that was scheduled will be rescheduled for a later time.

Our hope and prayer is that Nathan will stay healthy and be able to have the first surgery for his finger/toe release on July 17th in Dallas.  The other big thing from that surgery will be how well he is able to come off the ventilator and out of anesthesia.  Please pray with us in this way and pray also for our hearts as we wait and see...

Thank you to so, so many of you who continually, randomly and faithfully (yes, all of those!) remind us that we are not walking this journey alone.

  1. "The name of The Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runs into it and is safe." Proverbs 18:10. Praying that your hearts would rest securely in your Strong Tower as you prepare for Nathan's upcoming surgery, and as you walk through today's challenges. Praying for all your requests with love!
